Oklahama Real Estate License Reciprocity

How to transfer your real estate license from another state to Oklahama.

What is real estate license reciprocity?   One may obtain a real estate license by reciprocity or mutual recognition if the person has a current license in another state.  It basically means you would transfer your license without having to take some or all of the state’s pre-licensing requirements.  Requirements for an of-state-real estate license vary by state.

Does Oklahama have real estate reciprocity with other states?

Oklahoma does not have formal reciprocity with other states.  If your state does not have limited reciprocity with Oklahoma, you would need to take 3 specific Oklahoma courses and both the national and state parts of the real estate exam.

However, these states have reciprocity agreements with Oklahoma: Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South DakotaIf you are licensed in these states, you will need to contact the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission to determine your requirements.
