Online New Mexico Real Estate License Courses
As of Jan. 1, 2006, New Mexico has two types of real estate licenses:
1. Associate Broker (formerly Salesperson License)
2. Qualifying Broker
Therefore, instead of a "real estate agent"
or "salesperson" in New Mexico, one first starts as an associate broker.
The associate broker must associate with a qualifying broker. The second type, the qualifying broker, may hire associate brokers.
