Continuing Education Requirements
Ohio real estate agents must complete 30 hours of approved continuing education every three years by their birthday to renew a real estate license.
Of the 30 hours required for renewal, you must obtain nine hours credit in the following mandatory subjects:
- Breaking Barriers: Fair Housing (3 hours) - Civil Rights/Liberties OR Diversity: Your Kaleidoscope of Clients (3 hours) - Civil Rights/Liberties
- Navigating Ohio Agency Law (3 hours) - Core Law
- Complying with the Canon: Ohio Real Estate Licensee Ethics (3 hours) - Canons of Ethics + meets NAR Quadrennial requirement
